Lime Kiln Dock Extension

Our contract administrators and construction inspectors had many details to oversee, including Marine lighting and the dock’s hydraulic and electrical components.

The work included a new 38’ x 50’ steel sheet pile extension to the west side of the Miller Boat Lines Lime Kiln Dock at South Bass Island. This project included: new sheet piling; stone fill; welded walers, tie rods, bulkhead caps, fenders and bollards; poured concrete slabs on the pier top; marine lighting and relocation of the existing steel ramp with hydraulic cylinders and electrical system.
