Toll Collection Modernization

Design Build of new toll collection system for the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission (OTIC) through performance of a site inspection and engineering investigation of the concrete pavement, structures, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and other necessary items at the toll plazas for the purpose of determining required construction work; Design and preparation of detailed construction plans and specifications that will be required to facilitate the installation of a new toll collection system; Administering and inspecting construction operations and for executing duties and responsibilities.

QCI participates on this $280M improvement of the OTIC’s Toll Collection System as a subconsultant for a Design team. We participated in the 30%, 60% and 100% design reviews. QCI organized and managed the team of professional consultants to cover administration and inspection of twenty-nine toll plazas across the 241 mile length of the turnpike.
