Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator with strong knowledge of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) standards and procedures to support public works projects in the Cleveland area. This role involves managing contracts, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage, organize, & execute engineering projects from construction start to finish.

· Oversee company personnel on public and private projects.

· Attend project and planning meetings; maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

· Coordinate with permitting, zoning, and planning officials to resolve project issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in civil engineering and have held prior positions as an RE or have experience supervising and managing OTIC and/or ODOT projects.
  • Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and must be able to work independently and with teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools, experience with AASHTOWare Project (AWP) a plus.

The Contract Administrator/ Field Manager oversees the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficient workflow, scheduling, and coordination among staff.     • Experience in project management and staff supervision is highly desirable.
